Klez is a worm that spreads across the Internet by attaching itself to mass-emails and transmitting itself over SMTP. When the virus was launched, millions of email messages were generated and disseminated all over the world. As a result, several message servers failed, crippling internal business communications networks. Some believe that this virus cost administrators and users billions of dollars in wasted time dealing with incorrect messages, restoring failing systems, and missing out on opportunities as a result of failed communications (Gordano, 2021).

Regin is a multi-staged, modular threat, which means it consists of several components, each of which is dependent on the others to carry out an assault. With the exception of the first step, each of the five phases is concealed and encrypted. It can take control of input devices, acquire passwords, monitor network traffic, and collect data on processes and memory use. Actors benefit from the sophisticated architecture since they may load bespoke features customized to certain targets (CISA, 2014).

TROJAN CAMPUS

A Trojan horse malware is a file, program, or piece of code that looks to be normal and secure but is actually malware. Trojans are typically designed to spy on victims or steal data and are packed and deployed within genuine software (thus their name). It masquerades as something benign, but this is simply a cover for its true, evil goal. When this occurs, the Trojan proceeds to install malware on your device, spy on you, or do other forms of harm (Avast, 2023).

SASSER CAMPUS

Stăuceni, Chișinău

Sasser is a computer worm that caused billions of dollars in damage in 2004. It produces and executes a script file named cmd.ftp on the target, causing the target computer to download Sasser from the infected machine's worm-created FTP server. The worm will be stored in the system directory. The file name of the downloaded file will be four or five random digits followed by _up.exe (Sulliva, 2004).
